Day 5… Muddy Mantra Yoga Challenge… Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)!

Down Dog is said to be a resting pose even though some may disagree. The key to making this a juicy pose is proper alignment. Start in Plank, shift hips up towards ceiling (this is your proper alignment). Some people think they be goal is to have your heels touch the ground. That’s not the case. It’s more about your pelvis lifting up, biceps by ears and gaze at navel. Give it a try! Maybe twerk a little while you are here… your body will thank you ?
